Built for the People Who Manage the Building

Whether you're responsible for one site or fifty, you need a contractor who turns up, documents everything, and doesn't need chasing.

Facilities Managers

Reactive callouts and planned maintenance from a contractor who reports back properly — job sheets, photos and F-Gas records filed for every visit.

Landlords & Letting Agents

Fast turnarounds between tenancies and servicing scheduled around access, so voids don't sit empty waiting on a broken system.

Retail & Hospitality

Installs and repairs scheduled around trading hours. Kitchen refrigeration and cold storage covered alongside comfort cooling.

Offices & Workspaces

Comfort cooling sized to real occupancy and equipment load, with out-of-hours installation slots so your team isn't disrupted.

Warehouses & Logistics

Larger ducted and VRF systems specified for bigger volumes, harsher duty cycles and process cooling requirements.

Multi-Site Portfolios

One contractor, one point of contact, and consistent standards and paperwork across every location within our 80-mile coverage area.

Equipment

The Right System for Your Space

We specify based on heat load, occupancy and building constraints — not just floor area.

Ceiling Cassettes

Recessed into a suspended ceiling, throwing air in four directions. Discreet, even cooling with no wall or floor space lost — the default for restaurants and shops.

Ducted Systems

Fully concealed, serving large or awkwardly shaped spaces through grilles. The best aesthetic outcome for fit-outs where ceiling voids are accessible.

Multi-Split Systems

Several indoor units on one outdoor condenser. Cost-effective for smaller offices and retail units without ceiling voids.

VRF Systems

The premium option for larger premises, hotels and multi-floor buildings — individual zone control with market-leading efficiency at scale.

Indicative Pricing

What Commercial Installations Typically Cost

Every quote is itemised and site-specific — kitchens, high glazing and difficult access all affect the final number. These ranges are a starting point for budgeting.

PremisesTypical systemIndicative installed cost
Small retail unit
up to 50m²
Wall splits / small cassette
£3,000–£5,000
Medium restaurant
100–150m²
Cassettes / multi-split
£6,000–£12,000
Large commercial

Ducted / VRF
£15,000–£40,000+

We provide itemised quotes only — if a contractor gives you one figure on one line, keep shopping.

Planned Maintenance

Kelvara Commercial Care

A one-off install is only half the job. Commercial refrigerant systems need scheduled servicing to stay compliant, efficient and under warranty — and a paper trail to prove it. Plans are built around your site, not a fixed template.

  • Scheduled servicing visits, planned around your trading hours
  • F-Gas leak-check records kept on file and available on request
  • Priority scheduling for contract holders when something breaks
  • One point of contact across every site on the account
  • Filter, coil and electrical checks that catch faults before they cause downtime

Certified & Documented

Every installation and service visit is certified and logged. Insurance certificates, RAMS and F-Gas paperwork provided on request — ready for your compliance file, not chased after the fact.

Priority Scheduling

Commercial Breakdowns Come First

A broken cooling system during trading hours is a revenue problem, not a maintenance ticket. Commercial callouts are prioritised over routine domestic bookings.

Itemised Quoting

Fixed, Transparent Pricing

Every quote is broken down by line item before work starts. No inflated single-figure quotes, no surprises when the invoice arrives.

Single Account Contact

One Contact Across Every Site

Managing three sites or thirty, you deal with the same point of contact — not a different subcontractor every visit.

Process

From First Message to Signed-Off Installation

01

Tell us about your site

Send your postcode, sector and a rough idea of the space — floor plans or photos if you have them. We'll confirm coverage and next steps the same day.

02

Site survey

For anything beyond a straightforward single-room install, we arrange a site visit to take proper heat-load, access and electrical readings — usually within the week.

03

Fixed, itemised quote

A written, itemised quote follows within 24 hours of the survey, with system options where relevant.

04

Installation & handover

Work is scheduled around your trading hours. On completion you get commissioning data, F-Gas certification and, if you take a contract, your first service date.

Common Questions

Commercial FAQs

Can you work outside normal trading hours?

Yes — early mornings, evenings and some weekend slots can be arranged for occupied sites like restaurants, retail and offices where daytime disruption isn't an option. Let us know your constraints when you get in touch.

Do you provide RAMS, insurance and compliance documentation?

Yes. We're fully insured and F-Gas certified, and can provide risk assessments, method statements and certification either before work starts or as part of your compliance records — just ask.

Can you manage servicing across multiple sites?

Yes. Multi-site accounts get one point of contact who coordinates scheduling across every location within our coverage area, rather than a different contractor per site.

What's your response time for a commercial breakdown?

Commercial breakdowns are prioritised ahead of routine domestic bookings. Exact response times depend on location and current workload — call us directly for the fastest read on availability. Contract holders get priority scheduling as part of their plan.

Do you offer maintenance contracts?

Yes — Kelvara Commercial Care plans are built around your site rather than a fixed template. Get in touch with your requirements for a tailored quote.

Can you quote remotely, from photos or drawings?

For straightforward jobs, often yes. For larger or more complex installations we'll usually want a short site visit to confirm heat load, access and electrical capacity before pricing — it avoids surprises for both sides.
